Reasonable leaders hold the power to positively impact the world with the culture they create around them at work and in the community. It's not just the work they do, it's also the way they work that makes a difference. They care about the health and growth of their people and the culture of their organizations. To better define what it means to be reasonable, I've developed the ABCs of Reasonable Leadership: Authentic, Balanced, and Considerate.
Imagine what could be accomplished if people were more reasonable in relationships, in business leadership, in religion, and... yeah, in politics.
These traits lead to other valuable leadership qualities that I address like leading with purpose, healthy ambition, emotional intelligence, empathy, critical thinking, margin for bold risk-taking, and more. The good news is that these traits can be cultivated by anyone.
There's a strong sense of fulfillment in being a level-headed, well-balanced leader, having a healthy culture of engagement with your people, experiencing sustainable, scalable growth in your organization.
